you'll need:

eyeshadow (browns, blacks, grays)

eyeliner (covergirl is the best, preferably black or brown)

mascara (optional)

 

 here are 2 examples of "smokey" eyes:

1.  Line the bottom of your eyes with your eyelimer, smooth, thin line, blend it gently.

2.  Take your eyeshadow and choose one of your dark colors, prefreably black.  Apply it.

3.  If you'd like, apply mascara, if you don't want to, it doesn't really make any difference.
